Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery. Faves and comments are always appreciated! Please respect my work by not printing, selling, or reposting it.

The Church Mountain Trail is not a hike for the faint of heart, lungs, legs, or knees... 8.5 miles round-trip and 3750 feet (1143 meters) elevation gain. But the wildflower meadows and the sublime views of Mount Baker (pictured here), Mount Shuksan, and many other Cascade peaks are worth the effort.

Full View recommended for better appreciation of detail. Also, here is a closer view of Mount Baker from the same hike:

If you are interested in seeing more photos from the Church Mountain trail, please visit my PBase gallery. I am planning to only post a few of them here.

If you enjoy this photo, please take a few moments to visit my Mountains gallery.

We get a gorgeous view of Baker just driving from Vancouver out to the Fraser Valley so up close is a million times more fantastic! :D

I have seen Mount Baker from Vancouver, which is very cool. I also got a glimpse of Vancouver from Mount Baker, but it has to be a clear day for that. :)

Thank you! It is an amazing place, though it requires significant physical effort to get there.
