Another photo from my trip to Glacier National Park last August. When you enter the park at Many Glacier, one of the first things you will see is Lake Sherburne and the mountains to the west. Grinnell Point
is near the center of the frame, with the Garden Wall / Continental Divide beyond it.
The water was completely still, so my girlfriend and I stopped to photograph it. While most people stood at the roadside, pointing their camera phones toward the beautiful scene, we took the short rocky walk down to the water's edge for a better (and less crowded)
NOTE: When displayed at its default size, the photo may appear a bit "soft". FULL VIEW
is highly recommended for better appreciation of detail.(Nikon D90, Nikon 18-200 lens, circular polarizer, f/22, 1/1.3 seconds, Bogen/Manfrotto tripod)
