Here is another look at Lower Ruckel Creek Falls, one of the most popular off-trail waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. It requires a fairly steep hike followed by a fairly steep bushwhack (through plentiful poison oak), but the rewards are evident.

NOTE: When displayed at its default size, the photo may appear a bit "soft". FULL VIEW is highly recommended for better appreciation of detail.

(Technical details: Nikon D70, Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod, Nikon 12-24 lens, Hoya Circular Polarizer, f/14, 1 second.)
