Ah yes... Multnomah Falls. At 620 feet, it is the tallest in Oregon and third tallest year-round waterfall in the United States. And how many waterfalls have their own exit on an Interstate highway?
This photo is from last October because I was not thrilled with this year's substandard fall color display. My visit was a few days early judging by the leaves on the right side of the frame, but the leaves on the left side more than made up for that. I shot as wide as possible to include the leaves and log in the lower foreground.
(Technical details: Nikon D90, Manfrotto 190PROB tripod, Nikon 12-24mm lens, Hoya Circular Polarizer, f/11, 1.3 seconds.)
