National Creek Falls, Study #2 by greglief National Creek Falls, Study #2 by greglief
Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery. Faves and comments are always appreciated! Also, I invite you to download this image to use as desktop wallpaper. Please respect my work by not printing, selling, or reposting it.

National Creek Falls is fed by springs on Mount Mazama (Crater Lake) in Southern Oregon. I wanted to see it in person for a long time, and it did not disappoint.

Getting to this vantage point involved shimmying across the (deep and cold) creek on a slippery log. But it was well worth the effort.

Thanks! This is another one that you should visit at some point. It was a bit tricky crossing the creek without getting dry... it involved several large logs. But it can be done. :)

It is an adventure, though (fortunately) not in the same way as Devil's Staircase. The worst that can happen here is that you get a bit wet. :)

This is absolutely stunning! What beautiful waterfall. This is one of the ones on list for my eventual Oregon trip.

Thanks, Paul! I had wanted to visit this one for a long time, and finally made it there last May. It is one of my favorites... like Proxy Falls it is much more impressive in person.
