Ponytail Falls (Columbia River Gorge, Oregon USA) looks very different during autumn:



It was worth braving the cold weather to get this shot.

NOTE: When displayed at its default size, the photo may appear a bit "soft". FULL VIEW is highly recommended for better appreciation of detail.

(Nikon D90, Nikon 12-24 lens, neutral density filter, f/5, 30 seconds, Bogen/Manfrotto tripod)

i like how the edge of the water is icy but the water is still flowing. it's very unique and beautiful.
