Rowena Plateau is in the eastern Columbia River Gorge. In early May the balsamroot and lupine display attracts hundreds of visitors. This photograph was taken facing northwest. You can see a bit of the Columbia River, and the hills on the Washington side of the river.
NOTE: When displayed at its default size, the photo may appear a bit "soft". FULL VIEW is highly recommended for better appreciation of detail.
